The Wells Street Art Festival is an annual event held on the second full weekend of June, bustling along the Wells Street corridor in Old Town. This highly anticipated event attracts an estimated 50,000 attendees each year.

Featuring juried artists from across the continent, the festival's artist booths showcase a diverse array of artistic disciplines, ranging from traditional painting and sculpture to artisan woodworking, metalsmithing, jewelcraft, digital arts, and more.

Entertainment awaits at the festival's dedicated stage, located in the rear lot of O'Briens Restaurant (1528 N. Wells). Throughout the weekend, local musicians, performance artists, and cover/tribute bands entertain visitors with captivating performances.

Designed to provide fun and interactive experiences, the festival offers a designated children's play area at the corner of Wells Street and Evergreen Street. Here, kids can engage in arts and crafts, enjoy performances, and partake in recreational activities.

Satisfy your cravings with delectable treats from over 20 food and drink vendors. With numerous Old Town restaurants participating, attendees have the opportunity to indulge in a wide variety of culinary delights.
